I guess I forgot to mention I did not come here alone. Just one other girl is doing the same sociology study abroad program from SFSU to Cardiff this year. By extreme random coincidence not only is Wendy from San Francisco, but Huntington Beach. we have had identical paths in life from the 714 to 415 to the +4407 with the same degree and courses without knowing it (or each other) until meeting here in the UK!!!
Anyway, Wendy and I just served a ton of people their first Thanksgiving dinner. Grocery shopping is hard because if you don't have a t-giving holiday, why on earth would you need items such as yams or a giant turkey? Well...no such things as yams or cornbread or proper turkeys but I guess they can't complain can they? They don't know what they're missing anyway.
